Abigail and Tom were married on a perfect overcast day this August on the 7th, and much to their surprise, they were escorted to their reception in this horse and carriage... thanks to their great parents! A few weeks ago I did Pryca and Jeremiah's Trash the Tux and Dress session in Ionia. We started out on the fairgrounds and in the basement of the floral building, and as if that wasn't cool enough, I passed a very old 1800 built abandoned church on the way there, and out of curiosity, stopped by to check it out... imagine my surprise when we actually got in, and finished up our session there!! Not sure if we were supposed to be there, but it was too cool to not try to get away with! Here are just a couple shots, there will be more coming soon...!
August 1st, 2009 Jonathon and Markelle's gorgeous wedding day, a little rain and all, made a great overcast sky for me! This wedding took place at the gorgeous Mayflower Congregational, my first time there believe it or not....definitely had fun shooting there! Then more great photo opps at Aquinas' Campus. If it weren't for the rain, I don't think I would have quit shooting...! Loving the opportunities I"ve had this summer with the ladies trashing their dresses! Jodie and Carey were brave enough to get in this pond, not only on their own, but bareback on horses as well! What a fabulous opportunity for creative pictures for me, thank you Jodie and Carey! If any of you bride's want to do something fun and creative with your bridal gown, after your wedding of course, give me a call, we won't really "ruin" your dress, and you'll have some really cool pictures of yourself! You would never do this on your wedding day, and you probably will never wear your dress again, so why not?? Wouldn't it be fun to get into your dress again?
