Boudoir Event

Hey Ladies, I have 7 spots available for my annual Boudoir Event on Sunday, January 24th, call or email me asap to secure your spot! All images will be ready before Valentine's Day, hair and makeup, (and some wine if you need it) included!! If I can fill all 7 spots, the price will reduced to $90.00 per person! We will be shooting at the downtown studio this year at 445 Century Ave. in Grand Rapids. If I have a lot of interest, I will be opening up an additional date. Call me ASAP!!

2010 Off to a Great Start!

Hey Everyone, I've been out of the loop for a little while here, the holidays about killed me off, literally, am just now getting back to real life again! Thank you so much to everyone for all of the business you gave me in 2009, and especially this past fall and Holiday season. I was so grateful for it especially during these hard times... I just could barely keep up with it! Next year have to hire more help I guess! Also, THANK YOU to all of my brides and grooms who have been referring me to all of their engaged friends this season! I have so many weddings, that I"m almost booked already completely for 2010! I truly appreciate your referrals and am getting excited for all of the fun weddings I have coming for the New Year! 2010 will be my 8th year of wedding photography, and I cannot even believe it! WOW!! I've come a long way, and I appreciate every single wedding that I've ever done... we're getting up there now, hundreds and hundreds! Weddings have always been my number one passion, and I hope to make this my best year ever!

I'll be gone for a few days to the photography expo in Nashville Tennessee, looking forward to getting out of this snow for a few days! I may not be able to return messages until next Wednesday. I'm driving down there with a fellow photographer, should be fun!

Congratulations to Cara and Keith (seen above plus Darra) who will be getting married very soon here in February!! Snowy engagement pictures, and hopefully snowy wedding day too!

Christmas Pictures 2009

Thanks again to everyone who came to my Holiday Picture Event this year, I had so many people, I had to open up on Sunday as well! I truly appreciate all of the business that you have all brought to me this year and over the last 7 years as my business has grown. I grew substantially this year in particular, and although I'm very grateful during this tough time in our economy and with so many people without jobs, (including my husband), I am having immense trouble keeping up with the workflow as a one woman business. I have hired as much help as I can afford to hire to keep me going, but it's simply not enough. I have had to halt my wedding highlights unfortunately as they take up so much time, and are preventing me from getting the actual weddings/orders/ and all of the other stuff done. I"m really sorry to my couples from late September through November who are so patiently waiting to see some wedding pictures, and who I originally promised highlights to. All I can offer you is my sincere apology that I couldn't keep up, and I truly believe that the pictures will be worth the wait once they are ready!

Thank you to everyone who put their trust in me this year to capture your wedding moments, your graduation pictures, your children and families, and thank you for coming back to me for more.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, and Hang In There, they will all be done eventually!!

Meghan and John Sehl 9.19.09

Meghan and John were married on September 19th on a phenomenally gorgeous day up in Gaylord Michigan. Wow, what a beautiful golf course at Treetops resort, and on the way, I passed by this old schoolhouse, and completely fell in love...! I talked them into stopping by for a few pics on the way to the golf course, and sure enough, they are some of my favorites! It was an absolutely perfect beautiful day and wedding, with the ceremony taking place right on the golf course. Finally getting back to blogging! Soooo sorry to all of my couples who have probably been checking for weeks now for their highlights! Something had to give for awhile there I was close to insanity! You may actually get your wedding before I can get to some of these highlights! That's part of the downfall of having wedding(s) every single weekend... it's not humanly possible to keep up! Anyway, waaaay back in September, Will and Rhonda had a beautiful and sunny fall wedding day up in Cadillac! I was happy to travel up north a few times this fall for weddings, and September was a beautiful month this year, (way better than August). It was a bright sunny day, and we went to the lake but I was much more enchanted with the orange brick railroad house across the street!
